Community Outreach & Events

At Sam’s Mirror Project, we believe in staying connected with our communities through hands-on initiatives and partnerships that reflect our mission to rebuild lives and restore hope.
Here are some of our recent outreach programs

Back-to-School Backpack Drive (Baltimore, MD)

Our annual Backpack Drive was organized to show support for children in our community and help them prepare for the new school year.
We were joined by members of the local Police Department and Fire Department, making the event even more special.
Held at one of Baltimore’s recreation centers, we were blessed to donate over 150 backpacks thanks to the amazing Sam’s Mirror Project staff and our generous supporters.

Think Pink: Breast Cancer Awareness (Washington, D.C.)

Our Think Pink event was held in Washington, D.C., in partnership with DAV (Disabled American Veterans) and VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars).
The goal was to spread awareness about early detection and screening for all forms of cancer because early detection saves lives.
We’re proud to stand with survivors, advocates, and medical professionals in promoting health, hope, and community support.
